may-long lake trout trip 2016

A quick four days in the bush with Andrew, Adam, and Lee to catch some shallow spring lakers. Due to an extended period of dry weather, there was a fire ban in effect for Northwestern Ontario during this time, so all the cooking was done with a small mixed-fuel stove.

This didn’t stop us from having a great time, as is documented in this video.

The weather was mint, being in the 20’s for the May long weekend, sunny and mostly calm.
